We have a new trailer to show you! And this time it's in English again!
This trailer features some scenes that I would consider to be quite spoilery for some of the episodes that have aired in Italy. If you have not seen those episodes, please keep that in mind before watching this trailer.
It's time to add yet another company to the list of companies that have been involved in Filly Funtasia - Imira Entertainment! Imira Entertainment is a Spanish distributor of children's programming that's uploaded a trailer for the English version of Filly Funtasia on their vimeo account - implying they will likely be involved in its distribution.
The trailer can be found here: https://vimeo.com/359568880
Since Imira Entertainment has disabled video embeds, you're going to have to click on the link to see it.
The trailer only features scenes from the first 13 episodes that aired in Italy during the spring. (Specifically episodes 4, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 13 in the Italian broadcast order.) It includes the ending scene of the mid-season finale (which I still believe the episode to be despite how it was broadcast in its initial Italian airing - more on that in a later article) and a part of Rose's "I am who I am" song.
An Italian episode title is briefly visible during the trailer, showing that the video material is taken directly from the Italian broadcast.
The voices in this promo all seem to be different from the voices in previous Filly Funtasia promos. While the promo voices were likely temporary voices for the purpose of trailers and screenings, I think it is likely that these are the final voices intended for an English-language release of the show.
There's also two more videos on their channel, one of which seems to be the same Magical World music video as the one on Dracco's channel which we've previously called Promo 5.
Imira Entertainment seems to have been at the recently ended MIPCOM 2019, and their vimeo channel's third video with Filly Funtasia material is titled "mipcom2019 Imira Showreel" - suggesting that they were promoting the show at this year's MIPCOM. The video material in this showreel is a shortened version of their other Filly Funtasia trailer along with some clips of other shows. Notably, the MIPCOM and MIPTV events were our main sources for Filly Funtasia information for several years as new trailers and other information was released during or shortly before or after the event.

Some of those voices will take some getting used to, but I'm glad the show's still happening.

i can't say i like Wranglums new voice though, his voice from the old promos were a bit more fittingly intimidating.
however rose and bella sound similer to thier old voices.

Sorry, I hate to be a downer, but... for the love of carp, it's not even accurate to the show! This makes it sound like the mid-season finale was the series pilot episode.
"They must learn to work together as a team." They already ARE a team! Who greenlit this? Even if the voice casting is decent, which is debatable in and of itself, the acting sounds subpar. Rose's bit at the end about friends who accept her sounds more like snobby Chloe Bourgeois than a genuine feels moment. And whose idea was it to make the Mermaid sound Southern? Is Aquatica meant to be New Orleans or something?
I'll give the first episode a watch in English dub if it ever comes out, but if this is the level of quality we're being promised, I'm out. Even I have my limits.
Incidentally, anyone following Valt: the Wonder Deer? That one turned out to be a little more Captain Planet-y than expected. It's on Jetpack Distribution's channel, new episodes weekly. Rough episodes. Like, really rough, you can see a timer in the upper left corner of the screen in one episode.

And I couldn't get into Valt on my first try. Is it worth giving another shot?

In terms of voice casting, it's pretty good. The actors fit the characters well, and Valt's voice especially is well-done and mostly well-acted, if you ignore the obvious problem with his age (he's supposed to be ten, he has the voice of a 16-year-old, more like) but okay, it's an animal, there's leeway. Voice acting, it's hammy at times, but overall it stays decent. Regular acting, in terms of the emoting of the characters, is fine for the main cast. Mostly.
The trend of characters having dialogues about the Obvious Moral Lesson of the Day and just coincidentally having these shot so they're facing towards the viewer, that doesn't go away. The animation in and of itself, can get pretty terrible. The monsters in the wall especially are lazily animated, and the walk cycles in every end credits are clearly too floaty and lacking proper ease in and ease out frames. Action scenes in this series, as a result, tend to fall flat more often than they work, unfortunately. The backgrounds also do not match the characters in drawing style, the linework is very different and that may be off-putting to some.
I'd give it another shot if you are willing to put with good concepts marred by bad execution (the ideas behind the characters are still top-notch, more of that would be great), or if you're curious what China's charm offensive looks like under the hood. I'd give it a pass if you're looking for AtLA with animals (like what we were promised, grumblegrumble) or if you cannot stand overt moralising in cartoons, especially pertaining to drugs. There's, what, four references to drug abuse in as many episodes, close together? That's a little on the nose there.
In short: Valt: The Wonder Deer so far seems to be Skunk Fu style cast with Captain Planet style morals and a really wonky animation quality.

If this version can't give the bestest voices and acting ever (as of now, I would prefer the promo ones) at least it has one undoubtful treasure and it's the meaning, as in what the characters are speaking about. Sure, the viewers can learn a language or two to know what's going on in the dubs and different versions but something is changed in these as some things can't be (or at least are hard to) translated into the other language.
But if the ukrainian version wasn't translated from the english script (here's a guess that it could be translated from italian one instead) then I can't understand why it's like that. Because italian one was translated from english one.
(I can't be bothered about automatic faves anymore, it still happens and I don't know how to disable that; sorry).
